Odyssey Earn can surface short online earning activities: Odyssey-owned language and data tasks, research tasks, surveys when published and eligible, and separate partner opportunities when available.
Task inventory is variable. Odyssey does not guarantee a fixed number of tasks, fixed daily earnings, employment or continuous work.

Odyssey-owned task formats
Small tasks built around language, context and human judgement
These are task formats supported by Odyssey's current first-party architecture. A format being supported does not mean a matching task is available to every account at every moment.
Words + local language
Answer short word, meaning or local-expression prompts that use South African language knowledge.
Image captioning
Describe what an image shows using the requested language, wording or local context.
Image labelling
Identify objects or details in an image using the requested language or local vocabulary.
Conversation responses
Write natural responses to short scenarios when a conversation-data task is available.
Code-switching
Respond using a natural mix of languages only when a task specifically asks for code-switched language.

Voice work has a different trust boundary
Voice recording
A voice task can ask you to read a short script aloud. Current voice collection includes an explicit consent step, and a submitted contribution can require approval before its VP is settled.
Audio transcription
Audio tasks can ask a contributor to listen and turn speech into text. Language and clip inventory can differ from ordinary text-task inventory.
Voice, audio and text tasks should not be treated as interchangeable. Follow the instructions and consent information shown for the specific activity.

Content Research
Short Odyssey-owned research cards
Odyssey can publish short research cards in the Feed, such as a single-choice editorial or content question. The response itself is the research activity. External social engagement is not required for the VP reward unless a future activity explicitly says otherwise.
Odyssey Surveys
First-party surveys when published
Odyssey Surveys can appear when a survey is published and your account is eligible. If Odyssey shows you an eligible first-party survey, the survey's stated Odyssey reward rules apply to a valid completion.

Partner opportunities are not the same thing as Odyssey-owned tasks
Games, offerwalls and third-party surveys can appear alongside Odyssey activities. Those partners can set their own qualification, verification, reversal, availability and payment rules. Odyssey does not present independent partner outcomes as guaranteed.

Odyssey does not use one universal VP amount for every task type. Settlement timing can also differ — for example, some contributions may require review or partner verification.

What online tasks can I do on Odyssey Earn?
Odyssey Earn can offer short language and data tasks such as translation, word and local-language work, image captioning, image labelling, conversation responses, code-switching, voice recording and audio transcription. Research cards and surveys can also appear when published and eligible. Availability changes over time.
Are online tasks always available?
No. Inventory can change by task type, language, campaign, account eligibility and remaining capacity. Odyssey Earn does not guarantee a fixed number of tasks, hours or daily income.
Are Odyssey Earn tasks a job?
No. Odyssey Earn is a contributor and microtask platform, not salaried employment. Tasks are short earning opportunities when available and do not guarantee ongoing work, wages or hours.
How much do online tasks pay?
The product shows the VP reward that applies to a task. Reward values and settlement rules can differ by task type, so Odyssey does not publish one universal VP amount for every online task.
Are partner offers the same as Odyssey tasks?
No. Third-party games, offerwalls and surveys can have their own qualification, verification, reversal, availability and reward rules. Those partner outcomes are separate from Odyssey-owned task authority.
Can I cash out VP earned from Odyssey tasks?
Available VP follows Odyssey Earn's normal cash-out rules. The current base value is R0.01 per VP, the current minimum is 10 000 available VP, and current methods are Airtime and PayShap.
