Odyssey Earn is a South African web platform operated by Odyssey AI Labs where registered contributors can complete available language tasks, research and other earning activities for Voice Points (VP). It is a contributor and microtask platform, not salaried employment.

Odyssey Earn contains different activity types, and inventory is not guaranteed.
You earn VP by completing eligible earning activities shown in your account. Depending on current inventory, these can include Odyssey language and data tasks, Odyssey-owned research surveys, and separate partner opportunities.
See the main ways to earn →No. Task inventory can change by campaign, language, account eligibility, task type and remaining capacity. Odyssey Earn does not guarantee a fixed number of tasks or a fixed amount of daily income.
No. You do not need to program or build an AI model. You do need to follow the task instructions and have the language or context knowledge the task asks for.

First-party Odyssey Surveys have different rules from third-party survey and offerwall opportunities.
Yes, when an Odyssey-owned Survey is available and shown to your account. Each Odyssey Survey displays its server-owned VP reward before you start. Survey inventory is not guaranteed.
Read the paid-surveys guide →Odyssey's current first-party Survey model checks eligibility before the survey is shown. It does not use a post-start demographic screen-out to decide that you were never eligible. A submission still has to satisfy the survey's normal validity rules.

The current base redemption value is 1 VP = R0.01. VP is an in-platform reward unit, not a bank balance, cryptocurrency or transferable asset outside Odyssey Earn.

See current cash-out rules →At the current rules, 10 000 VP has a R100.00 base value. The 12% fee leaves a R88.00 net payout value. The Wallet shows the fee and net amount before submission.
Check the payout calculation →Airtime and PayShap are the two current cash-out methods. Airtime uses a valid South African mobile number, while PayShap uses the ShapID entered for the intended payout account.
Compare Airtime and PayShap →No instant-payout promise is made. Cash-out requests are submitted for review, processing time can vary, and Odyssey does not currently publish a fixed payout SLA.
Understand payout statuses →The current cash-out flow is based on available VP. Pending VP is shown separately and becomes available only after the applicable approval or settlement step.
