Can I look around before signing up?
Yes. Choose Explore the app to browse Home, survey partners and the Research overview. You’ll need an account to participate, access your wallet or use personal features.
Is Odyssey Earn free to join?
Yes. There is no signup fee and no app download is required. You use Earn in your browser. Normal internet or mobile-data costs may apply.
How much can I earn?
There is no guaranteed daily amount. Rewards depend on the activities you qualify for, the work you complete and the confirmation or approval required. Review each reward before you start.
How do VP and cash-out work?
Each VP has a R0.01 base value. Cash-out starts from 10,000 available VP, equivalent to R100 before fees. Your wallet shows the current fee and the net amount before you submit a request. Available methods are airtime and PayShap.
What if I don’t qualify for a survey?
Survey partners use qualifying questions to find the participants they need. You may be screened out or find that a survey has closed. A reward is not guaranteed for starting a survey; partner credits depend on confirmation.
Are there always tasks in my language?
No. Inventory changes with available projects and language requirements. Feed data collection is currently paused. Choose the languages you speak accurately when collection is available.
What happens after I finish a task?
The task or partner determines how completion is verified. Some rewards may remain pending until they are confirmed. You can track the status in your account; only available VP counts towards cash-out.
