By creating an account on Odyssey Earn ("Platform"), operated by Odyssey AI Labs ("Company", "we", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using this Platform.
You must be 18 years or older to use Odyssey Earn. By registering, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, are a resident of South Africa, and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement. We reserve the right to verify your age and identity at any time.
Voice Points (VP) are a virtual in-platform currency with no real-world monetary value until redeemed through our approved cashout process. 1 VP = R0.01 in redemption value only. VP cannot be transferred between accounts, sold, or exchanged outside the Platform. VP balances may be adjusted, forfeited, or cancelled at our discretion in cases of suspected fraud, abuse, or account termination. Minimum cashout threshold is 10,000 VP (R100 equivalent). The Company reserves the right to modify VP values, earning rates, and redemption thresholds at any time with reasonable notice.
Odyssey Earn provides earning opportunities through: (a) Language Tasks — completing translations, captions, transcriptions and labelling tasks; (b) Partner Offerwalls — completing surveys and offers from third-party providers including Wannads, CPX Research, TheoremReach, and other approved partners. Third-party offerwall rewards are subject to verification by the respective provider before VP is credited. We are not responsible for delays, reversals, or non-payment by third-party providers. Partner rewards may be reversed if the provider determines the completion was fraudulent or did not meet their quality standards.
The following activities are strictly prohibited and will result in immediate account termination and forfeiture of all VP balances without recourse: (a) Creating multiple accounts or using shared devices to complete offers; (b) Using VPNs, proxies, or location-spoofing tools; (c) Using bots, scripts, automated tools, or any artificial means to complete tasks or surveys; (d) Submitting false, low-quality, or plagiarised content; (e) Attempting to manipulate, exploit, or reverse-engineer the VP system; (f) Misrepresenting your identity, location, or demographic information to offerwall partners; (g) Completing surveys or offers you do not qualify for; (h) Any activity that constitutes fraud against the Platform or its partners. We actively monitor for fraudulent activity using automated systems. Detected fraud will result in reward reversal, account suspension, and may be reported to relevant authorities.
By submitting language tasks including translations, captions, audio recordings, and labels, you grant Odyssey AI Labs a perpetual, worldwide, irrevocable, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, modify, and distribute your contributions for AI training and commercial purposes. You confirm all submissions are your original work and do not infringe any third-party rights. You retain no ownership rights over submitted contributions.
Cashout requests are reviewed and processed within 7–14 business days. We reserve the right to delay or withhold payment pending fraud review. A platform fee of up to 12% may apply to bank transfer redemptions. Airtime redemptions are processed at face value minus applicable fees. We reserve the right to request identity verification before processing any cashout. Fraudulent cashout requests will be cancelled and the account terminated.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account at our sole discretion, including for suspected fraud, abuse, or violation of these terms. Upon termination for cause, all VP balances are forfeited. We will provide notice where reasonably possible except in cases of severe fraud where immediate termination is warranted.
Odyssey Earn is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Odyssey AI Labs is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the value of VP you have earned in the 30 days preceding the claim. Third-party offerwall availability, reward rates, and survey availability may change without notice and are outside our control.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts. These terms comply with the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 and the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002.
We may update these terms at any time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
